Neo geo games won't work |

Hi, i'm currently using Mame32FX 0.77u3 and i can't get the neo geo games to work. I've download neogeo.zip 232kb but don't know where to put it. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks

I've just done that but when i try and insert a game and click ok nothing happening. Whats wrong with it. Thanks for the reply.

make sure you configure your video settings well enough to boot up(depends on video cards sometimes)

try downloading the neogeo bios from romshare.
then put the bios in your roms folder then it should work.
there are many neogeo bios out there i had the same trouble but the one on romshare will work.

What files do i need in the neogeo.zip, i've downloaded about five different ones with different files in them?

The neogeo.zip that I use has 10 files:
000-lo.lo
asia-s3.rom
sfix.sfx
sm1.sm1
sp-e.sp1
sp-j2.rom
sp-s2.sp1
sp-s.sp1
usa_2slt
vs-bios.rom
This neogeo.zip file always works with the neogeo games. I never have any problems. I downloaded this at Mame.dk, which I believe, is out of business.

Well, if you are using my MAME32FX you have to download the neogeo bios that's is in the download section of my site.

This because MAME32FX support by default all extra/hacked Neo-Geo Bios sets that aren't enabled in official MAME/MAME32.

Ok I'm liable to get a slating, but I prefer MAME 0.37 beta, Neo Geo games run with no problem and can save hi scores too.
