I use the official Mame with Emuloader and don't have any problems with it but I always seem to hear people talk about using Mame32 instead. Is it any better than the regular Mame? Just curious.

Mame32 is just mame with a graphical user interface, they share the same core.

Thanks for the replies......I should been more specific with my question. I know that it uses the same core and everything I was just wondering if there was any advantage in using one or the other as far speed or options or stuff like that.

Mame "command line" in windows is the same but mame 32 is good interface, snaps, custom list, easy config, etc. Mame Dos version is very good for old machines, you win speed with this version. If you have good PC machine, don't worry

MAME for DOS probably won't give any speed advantages at this day in age of PC's MAME32 is great, many options that you may not know about in MAME itself can be accessed in MAME32 simply by looking through the options. I can't see EmuLoader supporting ALL of MAME's options as i'm sure MAME32 does. Grab MAME32, you should like it ;)

Posibly a stupid question, but are there any games that will work in MAME that won't work in MAME32?
