I've always used the basic MAME32. Recently I tried out MAME32FX and don't see any difference. There's also a MAME32Plus. What are the differences between these builds? Which ones give you the must bang for your buck? For that matter, do any of these handle ROMs not on the "official" MAMEs, like MisfitMAME?

MAME32 Plus! handles some extra games... decrypted NeoGeo games, gambling games, logical games and some "misfit" game.

Ummm. I read all that from the site, too. But just how does MAME32 differ from FX? Does it emulate extra ROMs? Is it more efficient or less CPU-intensive? Or is it just MAME32 with a different name?

MAME32FX is not compressed by EXEcompressor. So MAME32FX uses fewer memory than MAME32 and MAME32Plus.
