I would if I could access the site. Still getting "Could not locate remote server" for the last couple of days.

I can't access the site either. It seems that the whole 'mameworld.info' domain is down, or at least I can't load any of the pages from it. It was working yesterday though. Must be some internal server error thingie. ;o)

To be fair, I read somewhere that the server could possible be down for a few days. It's been flaky for the last week. I was checking out the forum over at mameworld a few days ago and then all of a sudden it happened again - the dreaded "remote server could not be found"

I imagine the issues will sort themselves out shortly.

Just add the information from Twisty's post in the MAME.net forum:

up... down.. up.. down..

to your systems 'hosts' files.

On windows NT/2000/XP, the 'hosts' file is located in the ..\system32\drivers\etc directory.

Why other packs (titles, the other snap packs, cabinets, and flyers) resize their pics too small and don't let their size intact like this new packs?

Hi fantomas,

That's precisely why we decided to do this at MAMEworld.

The other packs have been resized etc to save on bandwidth for downloading, but as you can see, this has compromised the quality.

I hope you like the new packs, any feedback greatfully received.

I like this "new" snapshot-pack myself ......

I do "destroy" my title-snaps because my predecessor has started this and I do not want to changes this (in this orginal title-set) ......

I am thinking about changing my title-snaps too, but you know they are over 6000 now. Not an easy task to do over the weekend

Congratulation to Alien_mame and Jabman and ......great work

regards
Mucci
